JL 50 is a four-episode science-fiction thriller series directed by Shailender Vyas, produced by Vision 20 Entertainment with Golden Ratio Films and Flying Dragon Entertainment, and released by Sony Pictures on SonyLIV. When a plane that vanished thirty-five years ago crashes in the present day, a CBI investigator has to work out where it has been. Abhay Deol and Pankaj Kapur lead the cast. The series is in Hindi.
I shot all four episodes on the ARRI Alexa SXT with ARRI Master Anamorphic primes, on location in India: Mumbai, Kolkata, and the Darjeeling-area mountains of West Bengal.
